Q: Do I need to consider the size of the valve when measuring pipe centre to pipe centre?
A: Yes, when measuring from pipe centre to pipe centre, you must also account for the width of the valve. Most standard valves are 45mm wide, but some can be up to 90mm. Please refer to the image below for a visual guide.
